All Romance Options & Quest Requirements
How to romance Anca, Crake and Lacra, which quests unlock each relationship, and what is needed for their epilogue appearances.
You can romance all three characters in one run. Prioritize their optional quest chains and select clearly romantic dialogue when it appears.
How romance works
Relationships are tied primarily to long quest chains rather than a hidden approval meter. The game telegraphs romantic choices clearly, and pursuing one partner does not lock Coen out of the others.
Anca receives the most extended epilogue treatment. Crake and Lacra can also return in the ending sequence, but each needs a specific late quest completed.
- Follow every quest connected to the character.
- Choose flirt, confession and intimacy options when offered.
- Do not assume disagreement automatically ends a romance.
- Keep a manual save before the final relationship quest and before the finale.
Anca romance route
Laslea's healer and witch; the longest and most epilogue-focused romance.

Visit Anca during the prologue, stay to study Latin, and pursue the red-covered book conversation.

Complete the quest. Its final decision does not block the relationship.

Between the Words
Brew tea, acknowledge her feelings and choose the openly affectionate responses.

Where Old Devils Lie
Ask whether she sees Coen only as a friend, then confess at the mountain pool.

Stronger Than Achilles
Tell Anca you would do anything for her and choose the direct love confession. Letting her use the Font gives her happiest outcome.

Return to the inn
Reaffirm Coen's interest to complete the romance scene. Anca appears in the epilogue with the most substantial follow-up.
Crake romance route
The Manumit rebel leader, also known as Marat.

The Firebrand → Shadows in the Woods
Save Vlad or investigate his home, then follow the chain until Coen meets Crake.

Where Loyalty Lies
Join the Manumit rebels. Going directly to their Svartrau hideout also starts the route, but skips scenes.

Share the private scene while hiding in the ruined house.

What Moves the Dead
Rescue Crake, walk him home, help remove his armor and agree to patch him up.

Distant Shadows → A Closer Look
Follow Askar, report back, then meet Crake outside the city. Reassure him and choose to return his kiss.

Rise at Dawn
Complete the final Manumit quest if you want Crake to appear personally in the epilogue.
Lacra romance route
A Vrakhiri who shares Coen's hostility toward Brencis.

Start from Ambrus's corpse after The Gilded Gauntlet, or through Ocha, Vicho and A Study in Crimson.

The Song of the Mountain
Gain access to the Uriashi enclave. Helping Ocha provides the cleanest route.

Hive and Seek
Flirt after Lacra opens the cave. The Kobold decision does not block the romance.

Our Rotten Roots
Viewing Lacra's memories adds backstory without closing the relationship route.

The Night of Horrors
Eat the Mandrake flower, then accept the blood-drinking and kiss choices.
- 06
Midnight Reckoning
Finish this final quest to make Lacra eligible to appear in the epilogue.
